What is it?
It is a modified form of Hyaluronan, which occurs naturally in the body. This is why the body accepts it as its own.
How does it work?
It is injected just beneath the skins surface to replace the collagen support layer which has been weakened. It instantly supports the skin, smoothes out wrinkles, improving facial lines. Minimal pain is felt as a fine needle is used. An anesthetic block or tropical anesthetic may be used.
How often are the treatments required?
This varies from person to person. the product will eventually break down and be absorbed by the body. It usually lasts about 6 months. The cost is based on the number of areas treated and how much is required.
What can be expected after treatment?
Immediate results are obtained and softening of lines, wrinkles and scars. There may be temporary discomfort with mild to moderate redness and swelling.
